“I've been eating here for years and the food is always great! You never know what you'll get for service though. Most of the servers are excellent, but occasionally it will not be good at all. One thing to be aware of. We just recently placed an order for pick up and online it said they had a charge for carry out. Called to confirm and they not only said yes they charge extra for carry out, but they quoted an even higher amount than what was on the website. But for an extra $2-$3.00, the packaging was nothing special. The entree was in a tin with a paper top and the taco was wrapped in foil. Seems excessive and unusual to me. All that said, I still really enjoy this place!”

“We’ve eaten here for years. Original owner and wife were genius at cooking and mixing flavorful sauces. Portions were always plentiful. Service was great and they knew us by voice. Then they sold to new owners. Portions vary. Sauces in dishes have lost that Smokey and savory flavor once so delicious. Sometimes I wonder what I’m eating. Hot to them is mild even if you say extra hot. Quality used to be a 20/10. Now it’s a 2 out of 10 most times. Every now and then flavor shows. I suspect old sauce recipes have been cheapened and changed for the worse. This used to be a weekly buy. Now we try other places looking for something better. I wish the original owners were back. They knew how to feed a person.”

“Pizza Street makes Pizza Hut seem like gourmet food. This is about the cheapest possible place, both in price and quality. It's certainly not good pizza, but it's still pizza. For the price, it's exactly what you'd expect. If I was trying to feed a bunch of kids or teenagers, this is where I would go. It's $5.50 on a weekday lunch for all you can eat buffet including a drink. The buffet is well stocked and staff are efficient. Location is clean. Can't eat too many places for this cheap.”

“We ordered deliver, emphasis was on BBQ ribs that we had assumed would be baby back ribs- too bad it wasn't mentioned. I have no idea if both were available. I enjoyed my full sized BBQ ribs but some were disappointed. I learned to always ask when in a crowd but I thought they were the best & they were really nearby at friend's new studio. It provided fine meal. Others had chicken & a special mashed potato dish. I thought it was really good. I'm not a local though so not available for ongoing orders.”

“Apogee has DELICIOUS pizza. I’m not sure what else you need to know since pizza is obviously reason enough...the draft cocktails are out of this world. Especially love the Paloma. “Absolutely fantastic dinner! Fast and fresh. My daughter wanted fettuccine Alfredo for her birthday, and she was not disappointed! My son had the cheese pizza and we split the Siciliano. Portions are big, ingredients are fresh, and flavor was amazing. The free marinara sauce and bread were wonderful. Sauce tastes homemade and the bread was doughy and went great with our meal. We will definitely get Toni's again!”

(The food seems to taste better when that happens) They are organized and PROMPT, buy the time you order your food and get your drink, the server is on the way to your table with your food!!! “We were able to get Black Bear for the first time during this quarantine and were not disappointed! The online ordering was easy and it was ready to pick up on the way out. The food was excellent, I had eggs, sausage and hash browns and my girlfriend had the chicken fried steak and eggs. My one complaint was that I ordered a biscuit with my breakfast and it wasn’t included, but I can let that slide considering everything that’s going on. Highly recommend!”

“Visited Johnny's with my husband for date night. Atmosphere was perfect-quiet, low-key, and private booth area. We ordered drinks, appetizers, steaks, and dessert. Our waitress Kristen was friendly and very nice. Food arrived in a timely manner. Everything was really good except for the steak. Both mine and my husband's steak was undercooked. I ordered a medium-well steak but it was definitely rare, while he ordered medium-rare and his still had a raw section. Didn't say anything as everything else was pretty fabulous and I really don't mind a rare steak. Will definitely be back at some point to give it another shot. The horseradish butter crust on the steak will be worth it.”

“AMAZING SUSHI! My husband and I are from San Diego, and are very picky with the sushi we eat since we’ve had some incredible experiences in our home town. We decided to give this place a try since it has high reviews and we are SO GLAD we did! The sushi and overall experience was AMAZING! Our only disappointment was the calamari. We prefer a much crunchier calamari and this one, because it is breaded first (I believe) is a lot softer than what we’re used to. The manager explained the process to us and then went ahead and took it off our bill since we didn’t eat it. Overall WONDERFUL experience and delicious sushi! We will absolutely come back again!!!!????”
