Jack Stack - Overland Park

The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the ambience was top notch! I was happy to see guards up between booths and staff wearing masks. It looked as if they had a great set up for pick up orders. There was a table with staff and pull up lanes where customers did not need to leave their cars for their order. Very nice to see Jack Stack making necessary accommodations to still provide a wonderful dining experience during the pandemic! It gave us a great date finally and a bit of normalcy again!

I'm a long time resident of KC and fan of KC BBQ. Although Jack's Stack is a favorite, I had never tried the Crown Prime Beef Ribs and I had a guest visiting from Central America that was eager to try great BBQ. We ordered "Jack's Best" that provides 2 sides, one huge Crown Prime Beef Ribs, baby back ribs and burnt ends. We switched the slaw for their world famous baked beans and added an appetizer of onion rings. It was a feast fit for queens!!!! Both of us had MORE than enough and she was happy to take the left overs for a lovely lunch the following day. Our server was awesome even in the midst of a SUPER packed house. Other BBQ joints may now top national lists, but Jack Stack still has my vote!

The beef burnt ends are some of the best I have ever had. They were perfectly crispy and melt in your mouth. The beef brisket was very good as well, not dry at all. The spicy BBQ saucy was a perfect compliment to both. The sides weren't that great. The cheesy corn just tasted like Velveeta and the beans were way too sugary in my opinion. The service was wonderful though.

These guys are so awesome! They are making this transitional process so much smoother, especially for Door Dashing! Thanks for being innovative & you all deserve corporate recognition! Maybe put it on the news because other companies can learn from these guys! ???? They've got cones for lanes and computers to take orders outside under a tent ???????? Also, every person that walked by asked me if I've been helped -they were all so sweet!????

This is one of the most favorite places to eat! It’s been our family place in Kansas! It’s unfortunate that after serving us a great meal we tipped the server for a great job well done. We then ordered a baby rib to go and paid . But on our way out! The server follows us up to the car and asks for a tip portion for the to go order Really!!! He actually stood by the door and asked us to sign on the receipt for another extra Tip!!! We actually thought we had left something at the table or the card didn’t go through! It was so embarrassing that we told him that’s not right he cursed us before our 8 and 10yrs old children and left!

Management/ Nick thank you for following up with customers concerns AND addressing them right away! I appreciate the response.
