I have scoured the city for a great Open Faced, Hot Beef Sandwich and real mashed potatoes and most important, great gravy. THIS IS THE PLACE! Nice, down home folks offering a wide menu, not to mention fabulous pies! Eaten there twice this month and been impressed both times. Portions are large!!! My lady had a tenderloin and fries and she made it into two meals and my hot beef was the same. The side of green beans were smacky with a ton of bacon! We live near north but travel south to eat there. Meeting a friend again this week for lunch there. Expect a wait on weekends. Food is made fresh daily. When they are out of it, that's all for the day. Highly recommend.

I love the food it’s amazing I hope others have as great as a time eating there as I did. I recommend trying the egg benodict or the French toast! Amazing food keep it up.

Don't go in the front door. To the left of the front door is a door marked for an insurance company, go in that door you'll be in a hall, there's a door to the right. It's a bit of an awkward entrance, there's no hostess or even hostess table there. There's no sign saying to do so but wait to be seated.

This is really rare, but they are probably overstaffed with servers. It slows them down confuses the kitchen staff and probably hurts their tips which hurt customer service. It wasn't bad but definitely a little melancholy.

Food was good. A smidge expensive. My poached eggs were overcooked. Hash was underseasoned. Wife's B&G were drowned in gravy, a plus if you're into that sort of thing. If I go again I'll try an omelette, they came out looking great.

Some of the decor was a little dated. I'd guess they're updating as they go. Tables were nice and new, chairs were old and worn.

You exit out the front and pay on the way.

Hole in the wall breakfast place. Food was excellent, the scramble I had was wonderful, fresh ingredients, quality meats, perfectly cooked eggs. The staff was friendly, attentive, and fun.
    Highly recommended

Nice home cooked food with breakfast or lunch. I had the Irish Benedict which was there twist on it. It does get pretty busy on the weekend morning. Though it’s worth it for a delicious hearty meal. I well be back to try some other dishes. There cinnamon roll looked really good.
