Taste of Africa

I pick out a new restaurant every month, and selected Taste of Africa for this month. The restaurant and decor itself is just ok, pretty typical for this area, but the food was new to me and tasted wonderful! I ordered the samosas as an appetizer and the Kalahari Platter. The Samosas were great! Almost every culture has a similar dish, meat stuffed in fried dough. The Kalahari Platter came with goat pieces, rice, kale, and a few other traditional sides. I was very surprised by how good everything was. The goat came right off the bone, and the sides accommodate the meat well. I really want to come back and try the fish!

My family and I have had many pleasant experiences here. Great, healthy finger licking choices on the menu. One of the most recent options is the Nyama Choma! Tender,juicy and right in all angles! With top notch customer service. We will return,many times over????

The folks there were so friendly! They welcomed us in and, after we were seated, they asked if we'd had their cuisine before. My wife and I said no, and so they gave us a complete rundown of their menu. SUPER helpful!
We made our orders and the food came out absolutely delicious!
My wife ordered the whole fish, and it was so damn good! Crispy on the outside and the meat melted in your mouth.
The portion sizes are good and the fried plantains are so yummy, I swear I'd eat them by the shovelful if it wouldn't kill me.
If you've never tried this place, do yourself a favor and drop by.
You won't regret it!

Amazing food. Everything was fresh and had great flavor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I loved it. Will definitely be going back to try more dishes.

We LOVED every bite of our DELICIOUS lunch. The BEST part was showing our friend a new place to have a GREAT meal. The only thing BETTER than the food is the AWESOME staff preparing and serving this WONDERFUL meal ????
