Great food and atmosphere. Love the redesign of the interior. The bar has been relocated and is very attractive. And, makes a great impression upon arrival. Our table enjoyed a filet, perfectly prepared and lamb chops, also prepared and presented beautifully. Jose, from the Bar, handled our wine and food orders in a timely fashion. Definitely recommend and will be enjoying the great food and atmosphere again!
We had lunch inside with well spaced tables instead of using the nice patio outside. Both the grilled chicken sandwich and the salmon salad were delicious and filling.
Not too bad. I know this place is new so they are likely working the kinks out. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was good. Portions were good. Cocktails looked amazing but were just average tasting. Great potential though with their nice bar setup. We will likely return but will give it a little time.
High hope's for this place as thier venue looks great and the menu is small and unique. The restaurant has a couple of outside patios, one with fire pits and another with padded lounge chairs, as well as a bar area and main restaurant. We asked to be seated on the patio with the fire pits, but were told it wasn't open to patrons yet. About 30 min later, they started seating people put there. Had we known, we would have had a drink or two while we waited for the patio to open. The food was ok, but a little disappointing. We started off with the calamari, which was nice. For dinner I had the seared Barramundi (fish) over rice. The fish was a little more than seared...I would have called it well done. It still tasted fine, but I thought it could have been so much better.
My partner had the lamb chops, which were nicely flavored, but fairly small, and again, overdone. The lamb chops were accompanied by a stack of potatoes (thinly sliced) that were kinda dry despite being lightly covered in a cheese. Not sure if they were going for take on scalloped potatoes or what, but they needed a little more cheese or some sauce in between the layers. Tried the house take on an Old Fashoined and Moscow Mule...both fantastic! We will come here again...as the food and drink menu still had items we wanted to try.
Stopped in for dinner. Tap beer list is top tier. Cocktails look amazing. Tried the calamari and wasn’t disappointed. Probably the best I’ve had in KC. Entree was seared halibut. Very nice presentation, but the halibut was definitely overcooked. They just opened and I know they are working out the kinks. Will definitely eat here again.
