The Roxy

No place is perfect. I go to music venues all over the KC area and I find Roxy a very good venue for dancing and listening. First of all it takes money to pay rent and utilities so don't complain about or resent a $5 or $10 cover charge. $5 is less than you pay for a big Mac.
So with the cheap cover its a great value for a great time. Second, it's bar food, don't expect Jack Stack. I never have to wait long to get a drink. Try tipping the bar tender. See how that works. The acoustics are excellent and the sound engineer is very good. I donno who owns / manages Roxy but it's now one of my favorite places. Large dance floor is nice. Keep up the good work. It's not a place for toddlers or babies. Children above 10 years old would probably enjoy some of the matinee music but hey, it's an adult night club.

Would surely recommend visiting this place. Excellent ambience, fresh food, fantastic service. They never disappoint.

Great place for music. We've seen a band called The Rippers here twice and they were awesome! Drinks and food are good

I enjoyed the friendly Owner & staff.
Our service was prompt & drinks were reasonably priced & strong. Titos & Soda is almost double on "The Plaza".
I am looking forward to trying their food next time. We are checking out the best cover band in K.C. next Friday.

We came here for battle of the bands. The food was good. Bathrooms clean. Outdoor seating area nice. All around a pretty great place. It was very crowded. Some of the sound was messing up during the live performances.
