“Beautifully restored building with an extensive offering of seasonally relevant interior decor items available to purchase. All of the furniture is for sale and they do special orders.. Great food and upscale dining. My wife had the prime rib and I enjoyed chicken marsala. Delicious on all counts. There are daily off menu specials that are awesome. Probably the closest thing to fine dining around without going to Topeka, KC metro or Omaha. Staff kind and courteous. You will get to visit with the owner and members of his family. Highly recommend reservations. They were empty when we arrived at the beginning of dinner service, but were completely full when we left an hour or so later. They appear to have a nice selection of wines and other adult beverages, too. The bombolina dessert is delicious and should be enjoyed.”

“So, I have to say I was pretty disappointed in this place. My daughter and I came here on the way back from Highland because we heard it was delicious and had a good buffet…..there was no builder at this time. IT ONLY HAS A BUFFET AT LUNCH. It seems like this is a common misconception because the waitress said many people don’t know that and were surprised when they got there like we were. The meal was pretty good and the waitress was sweet. She was super talkative. The place was really small, like hole-in-the-wall small with basic decor, but nothing special for sure. I was really surprised when we went in, and the buffet can’t have that great a selection when it’s up, because there’s only one or 2 buffet tables. In short, I’d definitely come here again if I lived in the town, but would never go out of my way to come.”
