“I can't believe I had never heard of this place till today?! Loved everything about it! It's small cafe style, but had plenty of seating and an old fashion decor sprinkles with pale pink table cloths and flower pictures. There were cards on the table that announced the weeknights special deal. Friday's was verenika meal, and also a pulled pork meal. I LOVED that the first page in the menu was "Small Appetites" which had all the classic favorites, just in smaller portions, more like lunch sizes. I got the small appetite Chicken Fried Steak and it was plenty to fill me up! Our waitress was so wonderful, I felt like I knew her because she was so personable! I was surprised by how affordable the meals were. There was a KC Strip and shrimp dinner for $15.99?! Very impressed! The food was better than I expected, and I was very pleased. There are still some other places I would say that have better Chicken Fried Steak, but that doesn't mean that this one was any less than what you would expect. I'll be coming back!”
