Dempsey's Burger Pub at Clifton Square

The best burger and fries I've ever had hands down. Parking a bit tough though. Can't wait for it to get warm enough to sit out on the patio with dinner and drinks.

Great little burger place at Clifton. Trendy crowds and unique food specials. Good place to grab a beer, hang out with friends or just to pop in for lunch. Staff is very friendly and quick to fill drinks and orders. It can get very busy, but that just goes to show what an amazing place this is.

I went to Dempsey's on Douglas last night and my date and I had a good time. The place was packed but our wait time was reasonable... I did wish they had an internal seating area as it can get chilly outside at night. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the drink special of the evening, and wasn't pushy getting us to order. I like the interior but if I was with a group of friends instead of on a date the lack of TVs woulda hurt watching a game or event. Overall the food was good. The fries were seasoned well and came with adequate dipping sauces. I wish the burger was seasoned better as I have a strong palette and it tasted on the bland side. The bun was tasty and you could tell it was buttered and toasted without being overpowering, we also were given plenty of toppings for our food which was nice compared to other places. I tried giving 4.5 stars but I couldn't on here so I had to give 4 stars... they are better than 4 stars but just enough small things keeping it from 5 stars. I would definitely go back and be happy to pay for the food again. It was reasonably priced as well. There are places I'd go back to if it was free, but this is a place I'd go back to and pay for the quality of food again. I recommend Dempsey's to anyone looking for a new burger joint. I will be back

Absolutely amazing food, great location, service, and atmosphere. My ONLY suggestion would be actual plates. The burgers are very juicy and therefore messy. The ability to use a knife without slicing into paper would make it an easy 5 stars. Thank you!

A must for burger lovers! Great service! Not just a bar! Good family meals with food up to 11PM on weeknights! We take the kids! Truffle fries & sweet potato fries are a great starter!
