Fun local brewery. It is a great spot for people watching and I especially love it when the weather is good and the windows are open that face the street. They serve unique food and fun cocktails. They also serve local wine. Out back is a patio, which is a huge plus! Service is never consistent. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's nonexistent or confusing to the guest. The good thing is you can always just walk in and grab a drink/pay at the bar and find a seat so if you're not eating there's no reason to wait at a table.
Visiting Topeka from St Louis and a friend recommended this restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and I enjoyed the Meatball Madness sandwich which was sweet and savory and filling. It came with delicious crispy beet chips -- I want more! The photo doesn't do them justice.
I am not a beer person but the bar attender recommended me a few options and I loved them all. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I had a salmon with a salad and it was phenomenal.
For an unique experience this is the place. The food is unique fresh and favorable. We ordered the Ruben bites and fried goat cheese appetizers they were very good. My husband had the meatball sandwich I had the PLT my daughter the Ruben all of them tasted great and were very fresh. We also ordered the goat cheese cheesecake it was delicious. My husband also got 2 beer tasters they were very good. The prices were good for our whole meal was $66.00. The service was good. If you are in Topeka this is a must try.
Went for a reunion with my wife. The overall vibe on the main floor seams nice. We were in a more private area upstairs which was a nice area. The reason I only did 4 stars is maybe not there fault. They didn't have the staff I think they needed for the event. There were maybe 30 in the group and there were 2 people working the bar. 1 appeared to know what was going on but the other literally would take all of a minute if not 2 to make a drink, even a simple soda. We weren't impressed with there version of "chips" I guess they make them from beats but they tasted burnt, at least the ones we tried. If in the area we might stop for a drink but won't be traveling that way to eat.
