(September 24, 2022, 10:36 pm)We never laughed so hard. We drove up in this sleepy town. Literally at 5 pm 3 cars were on the main street. We are the first in the restaurant, not knowing what to expect. Within 30 minutes people were packed in . The building has fabulous history, the food was very good, and lastly the 2 waiters handled this busy place with smiles the whole time.

(May 29, 2022, 12:54 am)When we travel, we prefer to patronize local restaurants instead of chains. With the number of reviews online, I had to check this place out.
Went for takeout and it was packed. Good sign.
The first waitress I spoke to informed me I could “mosey on up to the bar” to place my order. She helped to place my order and recommend some great local (Hayes, KS) brews to try while I waited.
Just burgers to go, but juicy and full of flavor. Pleasantly surprised that the fries are hand cut. Tasty!
Well worth the visit for dine in or take out!!! -
