Prairie Nut Hut

Along with the large and tasty onion rings and fried pickles, the chicken fried steak sandwich is to die for! My family enjoys visiting the Nut Hut. Possibly our new favorite eatery in the area!

Nice place, very clean with a friendly atmosphere. I've only had breakfast there two times but I'd say they put out good food the rest of the day.

Great service! Very friendly. Food taste great and the price is good. My all time favorite is corn nuggets. They sell t-shirts there also. I travel for my job so I like to buy cool shirts when available. Definitely recommend you give it a try.

This place is one of a kind. You'll walk on peanut shells to get to your table. Don't expect to enjoy a booth without ripped or duct taped seats. It adds to the ambiance!
Most everything is fried. Let's call it what it is- an attraction...not fine dining.
I enjoyed the mountain oysters, frog legs could have been cooked a little longer, burger was top notch 👌
Beers are cold, peanuts plentiful.

The chicken fried steak sandwich is enormous and sooooo good, as are the onion rings and fried pickles! My family loves going to the Nut Hut! Might be our new favorite local place to eat!
