“Last year we drove through Glasgow and stayed at a bed and breakfast just down the road. The owner recommended Little Taste of Texas and we went for dinner. Everything was so delicious that we went back yesterday while on our way to Nashville. Our meal was perfect again. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, my steak was so tender and seasoned just right. This time we tried a blackberry cobbler, which I wish I had the recipe for. Our server Dylan mentioned that he was new there but he was definitely one of, if not the best server I have ever had. He was very friendly, cheery and hospitable and took excellent care of us, even recommending places in Nashville for us to visit. The experience was so refreshing from what we are accustomed to living in the city. Whenever we stop through Glasgow again we will definitely be back!”

“I had a wonderful time at Kanha Kafe. The scenery was colorful, peaceful, and quiet. The presence of the cafe brought a flash of light, to what seems like, a slow and almost empty town. Though the menu had NO options that were vegetarian or vegan friendly, they seemed very willing to alter a meal to my vegetarian ways. The food ended up cooked just well enough but seasoned brilliantly. My table only encountered one waitress working the place, but she was an absolute delight. Polite, attentive, and just overall pleasant, she made the whole experience better.”

“BBQ restaurants can be extremely polarizing. Cult followings will express their love of a particular place, claiming the best joint in the area is a particular store, drawing in their service from miles away. People will drive across the county, state, or country sometimes for a really good slab or pulled meat. I am not really one of those people. I believe this opens me up to expectations. I ordered 3 pulled pork plates for my family with the hash brown casserole and beans. We were all in awe with the portions and how delicious it was. None of us have had BBQ in more than a year, and this dinner definitely hit the spot. Dare I say it was the best I've ever had. 10/10 value, taste, and service. Looking forward to the leftovers and my next visits.”

“Went for take-out on a Sunday. Was told it would take 15 minutes which was great because I'm 15 from the restaurant. When I got there patrons were milling about waiting to be seated even though the restaurant was not crowded. The hostess disappeared after taking the last set of people to their table and never came back. A waiter finally asked if I needed help, he told me he'd check on my order and have the hostess get back to me. Several minutes passed before a waitress and the hostess appeared to tell me my order was sitting at the bar. I feel had the hostess come back after seating the last group this confusion would not have occurred. Outside of this debacle the food was tasty and the portion size was good. I'll give this place another go but maybe next time go in.”

“The ladies and I believe now, actually, there is one gentleman, as well, who work the night shift at the White Castle in Glasgow, are seriously some of my favorite people, like, period, in the world!!!! We, I and my whole family, we just love y'all, and y'all keep on bein, and I mean, people, BY FAAAAAAAAAR and away, the single most courteous, respectful, nicest, kindest, and most just, all around wonderful restaurant crew for 20 COUNTIES around!!! They never have anything but sweetness for us, even in the middle of the night, and are always just so patient and kind, quick with the coupons to save a family a buck or two, and who doesn't need that?!?! And one night, when we had trouble with our card not wanting so much to actually allow us to utilize the money we own, and they paid for a rather substantial portion of our order, together, between the two of them (the two gals that are always there, every single time we've been, you know who you are, ladies, we are just so crazy bout y'all!!!!), out of their own (come now, y'all, we all know they, and every fast food worker, are severely, OBSCENELY, UNDERPAID!!!!!), but neither even flinched!!!! Now we got it figured out almost immediately, and paid them right back, same night, but still, who does that??! They are WONDERFUL, AND FRANKLY, FABULOUS EXAMPLES OF HOW TO BE AN ACTUAL HUMAN!!!! And White Castle, corporate, or franchise owner, to whomever this may concern, EMPLOYEES LIKE THESE, THEY ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY MAAAKE YOUR BUSINESS, AND REFLECT UPON IT SO BEAUTIFULLY!!!! “As one of the few sit down restaurants in Glasgow this steakhouse is always a hit or miss. The food is either perfect or barely edible. I guess it just depends on the time of day. The service is the same some of the servers genuinely care and others make it obvious that they do not. The pricing isn't bad if the food and service happen to be on point.”
