El Mariachi Mexican Grill

Good food at fair prices. The server Ive had everytime is fun and nice. Def recommend their margaritas on the rocks. Not cheap but strong!

This Mexican joint does not stand out, but as the only choice on the highway, it's good enough. The atmosphere is interesting- the seats have colorful, interesting art on them. The quality of the food is inconsistent. I ordered the fajitas. The portions are generous. The flavor of the meat was good, but the rice was dry and the beans lacked flavor. The corn tortillas reminded me of the cheap ones from the grocery store- they were grainy, dry, and broke easily. I left feeling uninspired, but full.

I'm not sure if this one is affiliated with the one in Tazewell Tennessee or what. This restaurant says grill and the other one says restaurant. Fast seating and service with a smile. Food was nice. I'm not sure if l like this one better than it's sister store or not. It feels about the same as far as the food goes. But I would probably eat there again.
