China City Buffet

This is the BEST chinese buffet in Northern Kentucky. Not a lot of competition any longer but it is fresh, clean and edible for Chinese cuisine.

We basically have gone there before and after I was pregnant and my family still goes there almost regularly. They treat you like family

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food overall. There is a reason they are still here in Florence, while we see other Chinese buffet come and go.

Mildly priced at about $12 a person for dinner plus almost $2 a drink that isn't water. We came in at 8pm when they were to close at 10pm. The staff was making it very clear they wanted to close at 9pm. Cleaning and setting up every table that wasn't ours. And they had stopped replenishing the food that was out in the buffet. A second group came in and they were visibly mildly frustrated about their hunger. It's a good place to eat on payday, id shoot for lunch instead of dinner. That food is good, not spectacular. I'd suggest unless you're a local, find somewhere else to spend your money.

Really wanted to love this place cause it’s so close to home. But it’s very mediocre. The crab legs seemed untouched, which was odd. The avocado atop the sushi had browned. A few dishes were fresh and a few had lost their luster. I might stop back for lunch, but it’s not anything I would ever go out of my way for.

I did actually stop back for lunch the other day. It had been a rough day at work and I just needed something quick and close to home. My original review still stands. There’s nothing specifically special about this place. If your in the area, sure. But don’t make a special journey. You will have eaten and it will be an okay price (during lunch hours)
