Tut's Restaurant

This is a great place for pretty authentic Mediterranean food. It's a little weird, so you might actually think that you are in Cairo. You don't walk in the main door, instead you walk into a hallway like with fridges and the heated food prep area. You choose your items from a menu on a whiteboard, then a can or bottled drink from the fridge (there are a few adult beverages available). The drink thing is the only reason this place didn't get 5 stars from me.
The food was GREAT. Really good gyros. The ambiance was Mediterranean and somewhat charming.
OK, I have to change the 4-stars to 5 as this place just had great food and friendly people.

Friendly and accommodating staff. We had a large group which can be challenging. I had beef shawarma. It was a tad dry and salty.

First time to try the restaurant! I grabbed a takeout order and asked what was recommended. She recommended the Lamb Gyro and the Chicken Tikka kabob. I got an order of both of them and there was no disappointments. Also grabbed an order of Hummus and warmed Pitas! FANTASTIC

Absolutely phenomenal! Food was great, good beer selection, and the baklava was to die for. The service was perfect, especially for someone who had never been to this type of restaurant before. I will definitely be back!
