The Fish House Bar and Grill

I highly recommend this restaurant. I have looked for a good seafood restaurant forever since I moved to the midwest. I have not found any in the Indianapolis area. I visited Louisville area this week and came across the Fish House by accident. The best scallops and shrimps I have had in a long time. They were seasoned just right. I will travel the 2+ hours for this place again for sure.

Very good food and service. Disappointing that a bar and grill closes at 8pm on a weekend. Should definitely be open till at least 10pm to be a legitimate bar and grill. Onion ring appetizer was good but for $7 should have given about double the amount they gave you. Also got a common bar drink which was very good but was too pricey for the size. Overall positive experience but a few things to work on. Would be nice for them to utilize the outdoor patio and have live music on Friday and/or Saturday’s nights.

First trip of what I'm sure will be many. The service was great, even though they were busy. I got the fried red snapper. It was amazing. The coleslaw is decent and the tater tots are just okay. I'll definitely be back.

First time at the Fish House. Being a newly opened business, it took awhile to get seated yet the food was well worth the wait! I had the 3 piece grilled talapia with 2 sides. Scrumptious!!! Next time I'll order the shrimp boil. Enjoyed a bourbon craft beer ???? at their full bar while waiting to be seated.
