Gourmet Chili

1st time coming here excellent food and service definitely coming

Everything was excellent. Great food, excellent service and awesome coffee. i can't believe I have lived here for several years and that this is less then 3 miles from us and we have never been here.. crazy. Crazy good as everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly.

We started with a single cinnamon, powdered sugar pancake and it was amazing. He and I split it and everything about it was right. Add a touch of syrup combined with a the cinnamon and powdered sugar and that it was perfectly cooked and it was just so dang good!! The only problem is that is was very filling and I ordered a full breakfast. lol

I got the "special".. eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast ....the eggs were cooked exactly as I asked- and seasoned perfectly. The same with the potatoes and with the bacon they asked how I wanted it cooked. I love crispy bacon and I look forward to using the leftovers for a sandwich/BLT

Due to the pancake, I took more then half of the meal home and I am looking forward to it for later...

He got the vegetarian omelet and rye toast. He felt just as I did and everything was perfect! Exactly as he would have wanted.

Thankfully the coffee was really, really good as well... literally everything went smoothly...

I asked the cook on the way in what he suggested, and he was happy to answer.. our server was wonderful- as it turns out, both of them are part of the family that owns the restaurant. Really nice people and you can read their story on the menu :)

We took home a couple of cookies- a lemon blueberry one that is so good! It's a bit like a muffin but as a cookie. We both enjoyed this cookie... the chocolate chip one is for our kiddo but it looks really good!

There's clearly a good reason they have been around for 36 years"

Due to a move we have been eating out a bit more then typical for breakfast and this is by far, one of the more reasonably priced restaurants we have visited recently---for what you get...

Great little diner that's been around for decades that has affordable steak dinners and pork chop dinners as well as gyros and Cincinnati style chili double-deckers and great breakfast
