Green Derby Kentucky Bistro

Food was delicious. Had fried green tomatoes which were good, but, not as good as Mom's. Mock turtle soup was great. Barbecue ribs tender and juicy. Generous portions. Bread pudding was big enough for three of us to share.

Good food. Not particularly flavorful, but fresh and nicely cooked. Liked the cod and chips, texture on both was excellent. Wine and cocktail shrimp were a little pricey, but good. Service was not perfect, but friendly and helpful.

We'll be back.

A great home style option. The fried grouper is delicious. Last week I tried the pot roast and it was really good as well. Sides are nothing out of this world but the main entrees have been great. Restaurants like this should be celebrated.

We had gift certificates to here so figured we'd try it since we had nothing to lose. The service was very friendly. Michael, I believe the owner stopped by our table at some point to make sure everything was good. I had the fillet and it was perfect. Cooked exactly as I had asked. Very reasonable beer prices. They also have a "leaner" menu if you're trying to eat clean. Two thumbs up!
