Dickeys Barbecue Pit

Enjoyed an excellent lunch served up on their Buffet. Typically one does not expect to find that level of freshness and flavor on a buffet. I was impressed with their barbecue chicken and also ordered a side of the brisket which was not dry at all. The green beans had a touch of spice to them which gave them exceptionally good flavor. The staff were friendly and a joy to do business with. This made for an excellent lunch and certainly a place I will return to visit.

Just passing through and OMG the barbecue pulled pork was amazing! Cooked just right. I couldn't even eat it all. I will definitely remember this place!

First off let me start with saying they now have a buffet! which is absolutely amazing, yes the pulled pork classic is there along with bone-in chicken some mashed potatoes.its not the size of a china buffet but to be honest nor should it be. I came here questioning the quality but I was blown away by not only quality but also the customer service from walking into and exiting the establishment! I would have no problem recommending you to come here and eat any day of the week. I'm from Manhattan New York so I am extremely picky with what I eat!!!

I ordered brisket. It does have a nice smoked flavor but it was chopped, not sliced. No fat, so it was very dry. I am not a fan of bbq sauce on smoked meat. I think of smoked meat like steak...if you need to add sauce, it wasn't cooked properly.

Their pulled pork barbecue is gettin better! Dined here several times at the Winchester, KY location. Seems a little better each time. Sides were good, portions generous and the pulled pork was moist and tender with excellent flavor. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Usually not too busy...should be busier.
Try it here. If you enjoy good quality barbecue, this location is certainly worth your while. I think you'll like it.
