Everything is delicious, plenty of variety on the menu with respect to different meats and sides. They have a meal deal every day for the budget conscious. Try the brisket you won't be disappointed. Free ice cream machine for dessert too.
Its average. Not a selection for sides at all. A roll, no Texas toast, nor cornbread. No fries. We look for the all around in any dining experience. With our family, there are kids, vegetarians, and bread lovers... so we have to find the full menu. We have gone to a great number of Barbeque restaurants and most we go to have Turkey Chicken Brisket and pork... as for sides... its everything! While this wasn't a bad meal, it just didn't offer enough to warrant a return visit.
Original Zomato Review 4/28/16 - Dickey's has good barbecue for a chain. I disagree with some of the other reviewers - the food is consistent between visits and franchise locations.
The brisket isn't a double-smoked as one would find at Red State, but it is tasty. The pulled pork and ribs are good. The smoked chicken has a lot of smoke flavor but it is a processed roll meat, so it may not be your thing.
The choice of sides are good - mac and cheese, baked potato casserole and the fried okra are my favorites. I think Dickey's does a good job in providing kid-friendly sides--important in this space (barbecue). The sweet iced tea is spot on.
They offer some extra pickles by the drink machine along with three types of sauce (I like the sweet) and soft serve ice cream (the cones are fresh and crisp).
