Gold Star Chili

Since moving away from the Cincinnati area, Cincinnati Chili is something that I try to enjoy whenever I am in town. I have always preferred Gold Star over Skyline.

This Gold Star was great unlike the other one that seemed to be a mixed bag in Berea. We stuffed our faces and it was good.

I have always been a big fan of Gold Star Chili. It was even my first part time job at 14 years old. So I have quite a deep understanding of how this restaurant works and how it should work.
I can say with great confidence that every time I have visited this particular Gold Star Chili that they have been very fast to get my food prepared, and that their product was of the highest quality and taste of any Gold Star that I have ever visited. I have worked at three different locations, and I have eaten at this restaurant in at least four different states and at least 20 different locations. I can certainly say that this location has been consistently the best for service and quality and cleanliness of any of the locations I have ever visited. I have, in fact, NEVER had a bad experience or sub-par food given to me at this location. I have eaten here over the course of probably at least ten years or longer...since it opened, and even though employees have obviously come and gone, it is obvious to me that whoever runs this establishment demands the highest level of quality and professionalism from their employees and does a terrific job of translating that into a consistently terrific dining experiences over the many years I have been going there. Props to whoever is in charge at this restaurant! Keep doing what you've always done! And if you, like me, love Gold Star Chili, you can't possibly go wrong by choosing to eat at this particular location.

Update: After being contacted by the owner, I've decided to raise my rating to a 5 star rating. Not because I was bribed... (because I wasn't). When they asked what they could do to get that last star it got me thinking. Honestly, I really don't know what they could do. The place was clean, the food was as good as you will get at any Gold Star Chili restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly and the ownership seems to take an interest in improving the customer experience. Since I really couldn't think of a Gold Star Chili I've visited that was better than this one, I decided perhaps they do deserve 5 stars. This is a 5 Star Gold Star Chili restaurant.
