Goodwood Lexington

We had the Fried Green Tomatoes, Wings, Original Burger and Drunken Chicken. Food was great and portions were huge! Count the tots 😂 The brews were delicious too. Took a 6 pack home. Will definitely return 👍🏽👍🏻

Came in for dinner yesterday evening. Our server, Matt was great, but clearly overwhelmed - as was the rest of the staff. As someone who has worked in the service industry for quite a while, it was very obvious that the restaurant is understaffed, and the servers are being asked to take way too many tables, which is inefficient for timely service. Our server did everything in his power to assure that our food and drinks came out relatively quickly, but it was very clear that the capacity of the restaurant was way too much for the staff to handle. I understand that the restaurant industry as a whole is desperately needing to hire servers, but I would suggest closing a section or two, in order to maximize the efficiency of the restaurant - and to keep people coming back for great service, which is impossible to maintain when each server has approx. 10 tables to keep up with.

Delicious food and wonderful service. I love that Goodwood makes a few delicious sour beers! I added a side of beer cheese to the shrimp and Grits and it made a huge positive difference! Beautiful decor inside and a patio which had live music on a Wednesday night.

First Time dining there, the atmosphere and food were amazing! My son had the Oh Cod and loved it! The beef brisket grilled cheese was to die for. I had the brisket barrel stout chili which was delicious! Highly recommend and looking forward to trying the drunken chicken next time!

We ordered and picked up curbside - service was very fast (actually it only took 15 minutes total from the time we ordered it). We ordered the Brisket Grilled Cheese, the Fish and Chips, and the Kids Burger. The tots were by far the greatest item - the seasoning is so savory and delicious. However, we were all very pleased with the quality of the food. Fish was crispy, sandwiches were great. Carry out worked well and the higher quality containers kept the food hot. We will be back!
