Looking for a unique place outside to have a drink before my husband judged the PRCA Rodeo in Lexington, KY last Saturday and man did I find it. Smack in the middle of town, this Cafe is relaxed and earthy with plenty of shade trees and cozy tables throughout. Parking isn't the greatest but well worth the squeeze. We didn't have time to eat but the wine was refreshing and the atmosphere was down right Bohemian.. Kentucky Style!

This place is a hidden gem, tucked away from the city, surrounded by beautiful tall trees it’s as if you walked into a wonderland.
The Blood Orange Cocktail is tasty as well as the food options.
The only downfall is the staff that makes the food is not friendly at all. They call your name to come get the food and as I walked up, smiled and politely said thank you, the two people standing there just gave dirty looks and totally ignored me. It would be nice if they had smiles on their faces.

I first want to say that this place is beautiful and I often recommend it to others. The food is always delicious (though overpriced, no way around it) but it feels like a treat to eat all the different yummy options. The ambience is absolutely stunning and as the sun sets there's no better place in Lexington to enjoy time with loved ones. It's a hidden gem as has been said.

HOWEVER, I need to say that I almost fear to recommend this place because of the staff. I am yet to meet a staff member that is not rude. I have been easily half a dozen times, and I am honestly shocked there hasn't been more complaints about them. I am regularly ignored, spoken to as if the sheer act of conversing with me is exhausting, and given looks that are simply not friendly. The air of arogance is nearly choking, thank goodness it's an open air cafe! My mission is to spread joy, wouldn't that be nicer than to act better than?

But I will return, because they can't kill my joy! I enjoy the food and location, it's a soul feeding environment-and they will not ruin that for me. My advice: Spread a little extra love when you go because man do these kitchen people need it ????

This is my favorite place to go get a cold nitro brew coffee. They have a verity of delicious drinks and baked goods. The garden atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. Just check the weather before you go, there is no indoor seating.

A real find for people who want a beer garden aesthetic. Wonderful atmosphere with a wide variety of plants and an adjoining greenhouse. Drink prices are a bit steep and selection leaves a bit to be desired. The food is also satisfying. It is certainly a wonderful afternoon date idea for couples or as a treat to yourself!
