We had a great experience sitting on their new patio and taking in a quiet dinner with views of downtown. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable and brought us 2 space heaters to keep us warm. We enjoyed their happy hour specials with fromage for two, shrimp cocktail and half priced wine and cocktails. It really was a perfect Friday date night
Fantastic experience: from yummy appetizer (we had the boom boom shrimp) to the entree (fish and chips and fried chicken)! Very attentive and friendly service!
Pleasantly surprised! My husband and I go places every Friday night to test and review restaurants in the Lexington area. Ambiance was great, food was great, service was great.
Food to try: filet with Brussels sprouts and bourbon chicken.
Also* the unsweet tea has a peach taste. YUM!
We had dinner here last night and it was fabulous. They have a great happy hour and selection of wines. Highly recommend!
This concept is yet another from long-time local restauranteur, Larry Dean, formerly a partner in Ranada’s Bistro + Bar (and in the same location). The patio has undergone major improvements, namely framing it in with knee and privacy walls to separate it from the parking lot. The menu has some new items on it, but - shockingly - quite a few of Ranada’s, which I didn’t feel right ordering. The “Fromage for Two” (charcuterie board) left something to be desired, and I couldn’t help but compare it to Ranada’s, which was like an abundant platter of delicious beauty. No other way to describe it. This one seems sparse by comparison, and the choice of components was both odd and somewhat imbalanced. The Hot Brown was excellent and a huge portion, I had to take half of it to-go. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye special, and was a little disappointed in the quality of the steak and quantity of fries, but flavor wasn’t lacking and he cleaned his plate. They have a decent drink menu and I hear a good happy hour, although there was no signage or mention of it on the menu.
