    We had reservations at another place downtown, and because my son is not 21, they would not serve us( it was a restaurant/bar but we did not know they would not even serve us food ) so, we were wandering around downtown starving and came upon lockbox – and we were so glad we did! It was wonderful ! The appetizer cheese plate, with local cheeses and the shishito peppers were delicious, and the beet salad was one of the best I have ever had!

    Each withA very nice venue with an eclectic menu. Wow, have never been disappointed. The chef takes a personal interest in your satisfaction. Have been here 4 times, each with gastronomic aplomb.

    I love this place every time. If you're coming for dinner, expect a fantastic meal and excellent, friendly, competent service, but do not expect to get in and out in an hour. It's an experience. Savor it. The bar is small, but the bartenders are always personable and they know what they are doing. One of my favorite places in a town full of favorite places.

    This was the Best Chicken & Waffles I have encountered. That and the green smoothie, it brought me Life! (The cream and berries in the chilled cast iron mini skillet was a great touch)

    Not really up my alley. High prices for small portions. Nice atmosphere. Typical Lexington eatery going high scale because of location.
    Food tasted ok. Service was good.
