Got a pepperoni small pizza and a fountain drink for $8. Small is like a personal pizza. Fountain drinks are small but we still shared as they are almost $2. Overall good experience and we would come back.”

That was until I went to Jimmy John’s in Palomar Centre, Lexington, Kentucky. Their 16 inch gargantuan sandwich healed my divorce and my endless depression. The staff brought a smile to my face as they continuously talked about the latest NBA news or vintage aircraft and automobiles. I would pay good money to listen to them talk all day. That night, I dreamed about my fantastic experience at Jimmy John’s Palomar. Best experience of my life. But food is cold.”

“My favorite pizza place they get here quick unlike Pizza Hut and they don’t scrimp on toppings like Pizza Hut and Papa Johns. They also have the best pizza of the big 3 by far I always get the hand tossed with extra pepperoni and pineapple on it and it’s one of my favorite meals. The wings aren’t that great but I come here for pizza if I want wings I go to a wing restaurant.”

“I love their Hook and Ladder so much that I get the large (it's huge) and take half home for lunch the next day. I've gotten a lot of people hooked on Fireside just by taking them there. Food is awesome and you get a lot of food for the price! They're also quick, even during the lunch hour time. If you're into hot sauce, they have dozens to choose from. You can also sit outside if it's a nice day.”

“This place is incredible! Another local pizza spot was my favorite until we tried Brick Oven for the first time today. We will be coming from the other side of Lexington often for this pizza!! It’s literally perfect. Great service and even better food. My only compliant is that there isn’t one closer to us ;) If you are ordering Papa Johns, Pizza Hut or antiheroes chain when there is a local place with this kind of quality down the street, you deserve a smack in the face..kidding..kind of”

“What a fantastic experience! A friend recommended and I'm so glad that she did. I used to get the mole at a former haunt of mine and when I saw the Mole Poblano on El Charro's menu I had to have it...to die for! The portions are crazy generous, every bite better than the last. Had a sip of the Paloma, a double shot tequila drink with lime and grapefruit, I'm getting my own the next time. Our server was super sweet -- it was only her third day on the job and she was so attentive. I think that's a testament to the level and quality of service there. I'm looking forward to eating there again very soon.”
