“Lovely Service, Amazing tasting tea (Christmas Blend, Peach, Peppermint, and KY Blend). Although I didn't care for the tomato basil soup, the raspberry vinaigrette was delicious!! And the Olive nut has green olives, pineapple and cream cheese on your choice of white or wheat bread. Absolutely delicious and will be back! A definite recommend. The pricing is fair, this meal was 14$, tea is about 3 something$ for a small pot of hot tea which I had about 7 cups of tea out of my small pot.”

“I'm still thinking about that gelato 2 days later. Wow, what a treat! Downtown Lexington's newest hot spot is Spotz Gelato with the super cute purple spotted awning. It's so convenient to offices, restaurants, hotels, & nightlife, with parking in the garage connected to it, right across from The Village shopping center, down from Rupp Arena, and over from the Lexington Opera House. What did I have in this bright, welcoming atmosphere? I got a small scoop of the "Kentucky" flavor & it was awesome, with pecans, chocolate, and bourbon. I also tried a sample of the berry sorbet & the Big Blue Cheesecake: delicious! With a focus on small batch gelato & sorbet and a commitment to local ingredients I'm so excited see the Spotz brand continue to grow. Our group even got a photo with the owner! We will be back soon!!”

“Great little local Mexican place. It's not super high end, but it's not trying to be. It is quite good, and they serve a decent Margarita to go with the food. It's in a former mechanic garage, has concrete block walks and the restrooms are outside. So if you like places like this these are not negatives, but quite the opposite. It's become one of our favorite local places to grab a quick bite.”

Weather permitting, the out door setting is nicely done with a flower filled low fencing, so you may enjoy the shoppers strolling to and from the mall. The staff is friendly and accommodating from seating to changes on menu selections. The drink menu is extensive with creative cocktails. Tuesday's are burger discount night.”

The cheesecake was delicious, but I now see why I don't eat it very often - my whole day's intake of calories in one slice! if you're looking to splurge, this may be the place for you. Our waiter was awesome - Anthony L! However, the atmosphere was just not right for a private, romantic conversation. You're sitting right up in the same space with complete strangers, depending on where they seat you.”
