“This is my second time eating there this week! We love it!! Today I had the buffet which had the pizza and salad bar (of course) but also had baked ham, real mashed potatoes, cauliflower, melon, 2 types of different but awesome chili and a pumpkin cake that looked like it was straight out of a magazine! We had amazing service. The restaurant is immaculately clean. The owner went from table to table to check on guests even though the place was super busy. We had a very similar experience the other night when we ate there for dinner. We had a fantastic server who checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the beef stroganoff off the menu and it was probably the best I’ve ever had!! The beef was so tender and the sauce was creamy and flavorful with just a little kick. My friends had the boneless wings which were crispy and flavorful. The others with us had the salad bar and buffet which they very much enjoyed. As a nurse, I typically do not “do” buffets (which is why I ordered off the menu initially). However, this buffet and salad bar are extremely clean and well-tended. It doesn’t seem like food sits out for hours and wilts—it’s very fresh. I certainly felt safe eating the buffet and salad bar and plan to do so again soon!! This is my family’s new favorite restaurant! We are so happy to have such a fantastic place local for us!!”

“This was a delightful surprise in a beautiful town. Directly across the street from Horse Cave with hometown style friendly service I had a mouthwatering fresh strawberry vinaigrette on a chicken salad with baby greens and fresh fruit. Sweet tea and a honey drizzled warm croissant. I highly recommend this Cafe for a bite when in the area. Fresh homemade cakes and muffins too!”

“Anything in this place sold with the intention of human consumption is awesomely delicious, from baked goods and snacks to full meal. The Amish Wedding dinner is phenomenal and available Friday 4pm-8pm. It’s well worth waiting to go a little further down the road to stop here. Prices are very reasonable especially considering the quality and portion size. Absolutely the only thing a fast food has better than this place is slow WiFi. The bathrooms are very clean and a lot of the woodwork is cedar which is brilliant in a public restroom.”

Limited selection of beers. Staff was really nice. Very casual atmosphere. Accommodating to request for dairy free. Nice spot if you are staying at Mammoth Cave NP.”

“Purchased a hamburger from here, the lady that waited on me was very nice. The main issue I had was with the drink I purchased. It was a bottle of Ski, didn't notice it until I got to the car and opened it. I opened the bottle and took a drink and it tasted really odd, not like any bottle of Ski I had ever drank before. The bottle also appeared to be dirty (on the outside) as though it had been sitting for a while. I looked for an expiration date and couldn't find one, but my gut says that it was expired, and had been for some time.”
