Uptown Cafe

My favorite spot for quality american food. Excellent spot to spend time alone or talk business. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. The bill was fair I would say. I can see why they have so many good reviews.

My date and I arrived just after 9pm and they close at 10pm during the week. Friendly staff encouraged us to enjoy the evening, which we did dining outdoors on delicious food and superb service! Never were we made to feel rushed but were treated as though the evening had just begun. Uptown helped to make the evening special and I look forward to my next visit there!

Great atmosphere, service and the food was delicious! My glass of water was never empty and our waitress Ashley was phenomenal. I’m a vegetarian and they had so many options on the menu. I had the vegetable stir-fry with fried tofu and it was so good [Pictured below]. It is a tad on the pricey side but you get big portions with lots of flavor. The clientele was older but it was not a problem.

Uptown has long been a favorite restaurant. Good service, nice variety of good food and a pleasant place to be. Great combination of factors to enjoy.

My favorite Manhattan, and the food is great also.

Love the chicken liver salad, plenty of pecan encrusted chicken livers surrounded by various greens and apple slices. I never get tired of the flavor.
We also had the lunch version of the salmon patty plate, crispy on the outside and moist inside.
We love the ambience where you can hear each other speak and not be blown out by loud music.
