Wild Ginger - Highland

Sushi is excellent, but more importantly, the only place in Louisville I know of to get a Japanese curry. Flavor is 100% spectacular, but I do wish that they would go back to the classic plate-based style of curry, rather than serving it in a bowl as they do now.

Food itself was fantastic at expected prices. They even have some Japanese beers I haven't see before. Service speed was horrible, however. We took about 20 minutes to eat and our stay totaled in 2+ hours just waiting for the server to either bring us out food (sushi), bring us the check and brining back our cards. Also was never checked on. I suggest doing take out.

Giving 4 stars because our server was awesome! He was on point, fun, and kind. The sushi was okay. I don't care for my rice being warm on a cold roll. But I loved your staff!

What a fantastic experience. I have a shellfish allergy ..the lady who waited on my table was extremely kind, patient and helpful. I'm thankful to have had such a great experience .The midnight roll and spicy roll is absolutely fantastic. I also really enjoyed the wild ginger salad. I'll be back!
