Against the Grain Brewery and Smokehouse

Such a cool brew pub in downtown Louisville by the baseball stadium. The brews had fun names and there was a good variety. Thr only catch is that they sell only their own beer, but there definitely is something for everyone. I loved the outdoor picnic seating as well - worked perfectly for our big group!

An eclectic mixed crowd. Excellent drinks, great attitude among the staff, with an amazing selection of drinks both beers and hard liquors. AGT: Brewery and Smokehouse has a killer menu also; ranging from wings to burgers and straight up shredded smoked classic meats! (Vegetarian meals available too) .

If you're in Kentucky - don't miss this little gem.

First time there, had the Dirty Burger with bacon and it was perfect. I reflexively asked for barbecue sauce because I like a saucy burger, and was pleasantly surprised to not really need it. Good service, really cool place, a perfectly-sized food menu, and I love that you can see the operation from the dining area. Also I love shredded lettuce. A dying breed, those fine establishments that use shrettuce.

I want to give 4.5. The remaining half? I wish the food was a bit better. The drink i had was downright amazing (I'm visiting Louisville and their Bourbon cocktail on that day was the sh*t!). The service and vibe were really calm and pleasant.
