Drake's St. Matthews

It was our first time dining here. We had a party of 12 for a big family lunch on Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere had a comfortable sports bar feel. We ordered the fried pickles for our appetizer. They were some of the best we've had in Louisville. Most of our party ordered burgers. We were somewhat disappointed with the burgers. They were heavily salted which made them difficult to eat. Overall the server did a good job although she was very busy.

It’s not just a place for old white people to grind on each other. They actually have decent food too! The fried pickles and anything with their beer cheese is the bomb.

Great place in our neighborhood. Good daily specials, but can get a bit pricey if you order outside of those. Has a good variety of food choices. Only down side is that it can get pretty crowded, and occasionally bar service especially can be a little slow. We get the wings almost every week. They are amazing.

Drake's is definitely a great place to sit down, relax, and have a good meal... I've been here a few times, and it is pretty good! They have a very good food, and beverage selection, something for everyone. The service is good, the food is good, and the prices aren't too bad either. I definitely recommend this place. There is plenty of parking in the back as well, so that's a plus! Hope anyone reading this review gives it a try... Enjoy!

This place is a great place to go have a bite and some drinks with friends. We also will bring our children there during the day as well. The food is great and very reasonably priced. They have a wide beer selection with rotational and seasonal craft beers. Live DJ at late evening and night. Also, dance floor.
