They put crack in the food....

All joking aside it's a wonderful place to eat. The only thing you have to remember is that they serve soul food. Try not to eat a heavy lunch or you will want to take a nap afterwards. Also, they will take 20-25 minutes to make your food as it is made to order so don't go if you are in a rush. My only negative is that they are closed on Monday and Tuesday.

I love this restaurant. This is some of the best soul food that I have had. It reminds me of eating with my family during the holidays. I am never disappointed when I visit. It's worth the wait and every penny.

Tried a spur of the moment carry out lunch when looking for a neighborhood place. Wow!! The food was amazingly good! My son and I had fried chicken with sides and corn bread. Everything was fresh and the chicken was steamy hot even though we had to travel a few miles before we could eat. Worth the wait. Will definitely return.

I have been to this establishment many times. Each time I go, I try to bring someone new with me to experience it. I have yet to find a single thing that has ever disappointed me. I had every intention of taking pictures of my food when it arrived, but once the aroma hit my nostrils, I had forgotten all about documenting the moment and couldn't wait to dive in.

On this particular visit I had the ranch chicken wings (seasoned to perfection), macaroni and cheese, broccoli casserole, and sweet potatoes. My mom had the pork chops, greens, and sweet potatoes (which is probably our favorite side here, though it's hard to name just one because everything is so fantastic). My dad had salmon croquettes with greens and corn pudding.

We all shared our various meals and agreed that there isn't one bad thing on the menu. What I love about the food here is that it is so consistent. Everything has always tasted exactly the same, flat out fabulous!

The servers are always attentive. The decor and ambiance is relaxing. I always enjoy the music played in the background and find myself dancing in my seat while I eat lol. I will continue to rave about this place and wish them all the best!
