Down One Bourbon Bar

Stopped in for dinner with a party of four on a Friday night. There are issues with the service here which definitely hurts the restaurant. The place was half empty and we still waited to be seated. The menu is nothing special but they do have a large bourbon menu. I had the fried chicken which was very good but the wings and meat dishes were average. I also ordered one of their special bourbon drinks which was not very good. OK place but not worth going back.

Came here on a whim and was very pleased. The pours in our drinks were not stingy and neither were the prices. Music was outside. Great atmosphere. I'm extremely surprised by my food order - the tuna poke. It was absolutely delicious. It's not your typical poke, but rather than a deconstructed tuna roll. Can't wait to visit this place again.

Awesome service from Tyler the bartender. Tried chips,&queso, cheese curds and the brisket quesadilla. I will definitely go there again!

Stopped by after a U of L game for some drinks and food. Everyone was friendly inside, but I enjoyed the happy hour menu the most. Be sure to ask for it! I loved the $6 old fashioned on tap. They have a lot of bourbon as well as rare ones labeled behind the bar.

Surprisingly good little restaurant on 3rd street in front of the Gault House. Not just a bar but a great little eatery. Had the Brisket Grilled Cheese sandwich and the Brisket Chili. The salsa is outstanding and fresh. 1st time there.
