Excellent service from start to finish. Erin took care of us and went the extra mile to go over the whole menu, considering this is our first visit.

For our drinks, we ordered the Lovesick Girls and Stay Awake. Both are lovely. The Lovesick Girls aka lychee martini is light, refreshing and perfectly balanced. The sweetness coming from the lychee definitely paired well with the bitterness of the martini.

Erin also gave us two flutes of champagne on the house which was a lovely addition to our dining experience. We appreciate it very much.

For starters we tried the wagyu tataki handroll and the steamed shrimp mandu. Both are extremely flavorful. The steamed shrimp mandu is very delicate and light, and I really loved how the garlic chili sauce elevated the dish to new heights. The wagyu tataki is probably my favorite. Every component of the hand roll just made the roll very enjoyable.

For our entree, we ordered prime tenderloin and kalbi (short ribs), and we loved them. Banchan's also exemplary. I also love that Nami made sure it differentiates itself from other competitors by ensuring great attention to detail is exercised. For one, they serve 3-grain rice instead of the usual steamed white rice. Side vegetables were also cleverly used as an added pop of color to the dish presentation while still making sure it is perfectly cooked and its flavor would add value to the whole dish. Nami also did not have any steak knives on the table, as meat comes in pre-cut already. One opportunity for improvement is to possibly try to cut the meat a little smaller (for kalbi, that is). While kalbi was served tender and full of flavor, some parts could be get challenging to chew (due to the nature of the cut)

For dessert, we tried the taiyaki puff pastry and the lychee-ginger shaved ice. I enjoyed the shaved ice. It is light, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet.

Overall a great experience, we would love to go back and try out other dishes. We are so glad a modern contemporary Korean restaurant is finally in the area.

I came in for dinner and drinks with 2 friends, and we all three had a wonderful experience. The servers were friendly and attentive, and Chef Edward Lee personal engaged with all of the guests!
We enjoyed all of our dishes and drinks. I highly recommend the vegetable pajun and the shrimp mandu appetizers! Both items are super flavorful, especially the spice of the shrimp mandu. Both are perfect for sharing. The Romaine hearts salad is very unique, and unlike any other salad I’ve had. We loved the dressing! We also had the Crispy skin snapper entree, the Dak-Kalbi (chicken) Korean BBQ dish, and the sweet potato edamame dumplings. For dessert we tried the taiyaki (fish shaped puff pastry) and the seasonal peach item. Both were wonderful! For drinks (not pictured) we had the stay awake, best friend ever, lovesick girls and yuja soju punch! The punch is light and refreshing and prefect to share! We will definitely be returning.

Nami was a true fine dining experience with wonderful food, careful attention to detail, and service that you typically don't see at this low of a price point.

Three of us gave Nami a try, and what a dinner! We started with three different starters, and all three were great, delicious start to our dinner experience. To me, the best choice is either of the Mandu dishes. Both were unique and flavorful, and I'm confident that other menu choices probably are as well.

For dinner, we went with three different choices, Ju-Mul-Luk (beef tenderloin), Dak-Kalbi (chicken), and Galmae-Gisal (strip steak). They were served with Banchan, comprising of a handful of different things, including cucumbers, kimchi, peppers, and potatoes. All were incredible... the kimchi some of the best I've had. The main dinners and meats were perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and so flavorful. The trio of sauces provided allows you to customize the flavors of each bite. For me. The Ssamjang with the beef tenderloin was a perfect pairing, and add a little Gochujang to spice it up.

Lastly, the service. Every person there was working in unison to make sure each guest was taken care of and they knew their trade. There was never a "who ordered what" when things were brought to the table, drinks didn't run dry, and the tables were wiped clean between each course. Something you don't see much anymore, and it was quite refreshing to see that attention to detail. Speaking of detail, all the staff also made sure to take the time to name, explain, and describe all items and anything on the menu, further showing the restaurant wide depth of knowledge in their craft and the menu offerings.

We also had the pleasure of meeting and talking with the owner, Chef Edward Lee, who took the time to great and meet with many of the patrons.

Overall, I highly recommend it for a wonderful Korean food experience.

I wasn’t expecting much from my first visit, but all of our dishes here was really quite fantastic (and we sampled a bit of everything). Flavors were more adventurous and refined compared to traditional Korean BBQ and it’s typical associated side dishes (but perhaps less variety?). Our waiter was fantastic and attentive without being intrusive. Can’t wait to return and sample what we couldn’t get to! My only comment of concern is that the main dining space (at the entry) is quite noisy and it’s difficult to have a conversation - when we moved to a bbq booth it was much better acoustically.

Our food was fantastic! The staff was very attentive, offered suggestions and knowledgeable of the entire menu. I loved our cocktails!! We ordered a total of four cocktails, two appetizers, two entrées, dessert and coffee, and our check was less than $150. (And we had leftovers). For the quality of food and variety of ingredients, as well as the overall experience, I thought the value was excellent. We cannot wait to return.
