Food was Different and Delicious! Our server, Peter, was Excellent!
Gluten free breakfast! I was so happy to find this place during my stay. It was pricey but, I had a kale and tomato omelette, gluten free toast (toasted on a cookie sheet in the oven to avoid the toaster) and mint berries. Worth the money and I did not feel sick!
Nice place over all. Shrimp and grits we're good (the shrimp were spot on) and the pork chop was great. Service was a bit slow but the server seemed to be handling a large number of guests. One of the better old fashioneds that I have had in a while.
Upscale steampunk atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast food. And incredibly friendly staff. I had the Big Slugger breakfast which exceeded expectation due to the pecan butter which melted perfectly into the pancakes and candied, thick-cut bacon. Definitely will seek this out again when in Louisville.
On my last day in Louisville, I decided to have breakfast at Neighborhood Services. It’s located in the Omni hotel. It’s a big restaurant with a corner space and windows from end to end. There isn’t a bad seat.
The bar is well equipped and there is pretty of room to sit at the bar.
I ordered the Two Eggs Any with crispy potato hash, bacon, and sixteen bricks wheat toast. The potatoes are very well done with some vegetables that aren’t overwhelming and crispy enough to give it that little snap. The bacon taste likes it’s a bit of candied bacon without the sugar and the wheat toast is spectacular. It’s comes with some greens to make it a little healthy. It’s a very satisfying meal.
I would definitely order the again and come back and try other things.
