Love this place!!! Awesome friendly services, great atmosphere, great food. The Cobb salad was delicious and my friend said the shrimp and grits were phenomenon.Thanks Ms. Angie for my first Amaretto Sour. I will definitely ask for that again next time I’m there. I hope that the friends and family brunch is a major success. I am looking forward to brunch next Sunday. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Been here multiple times. Every cocktail is handmade with natural ingredients (where applicable) and tastes delicious. One of the only places that has a large selection of bourbon cocktails.

All the food items are delicious and had a unique twist on a Cajun classic. I haven't had anything that I did not like. It's not cheap but it's quality food.

Definitely a must try in Louisville.

We were visiting from Atlanta for the July 4th long weekend, and we were in search of amazing local places for cocktails. Well, let me tell you! Walking inside, we were greeted by a friendly hostess. The smell of amazing bourbon, along with the sound of jazz music permeated the air! This is a beautiful establishment, and what’s amazing is that this gem is in a beautiful old neighborhood. That, along with the amazing decor and oversized barrels as booths, well, it’s a total vibe! You can tell when cocktails are crafted with thoughtful ingredients and care- and North of Bourbon delivered! Easily better than anywhere we found on Whisky Row or downtown, and absolutely the best mixed drinks we had the entire trip. We did not eat - just had cocktails- but I’ve no doubt the food would be fabulous! It really ended our evening on a great note and I couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Had the pleasure of dining here last weekend (4/30) while visiting and meeting up with my Best Friends in Louisville. I've been very lucky that I have had the opportunity to dine at some of the best restaurants around the Midwest and southern United states. I can firmly say North of Bourbon was amongst the top 5 meals/dining experiences I have ever had.

The atmosphere is spectacular, food and service was exceptional. I cant remember our waitresses name, but she was fantastic. We started with some fantastic cocktails and bourbon. Then moved onto some shared plates (the meat and cheese plate and some oysters). I ended up having the Chili Lime Crab Claws. Without a doubt one of the best seafood dishes I have ever had.

My wife and I visited New Orleans around Christmas time, and I can feel and taste the influence that Chef Weeks draws from there. Just an amazing experience. Once I got back home, I let my wife know we would be making the trip down to Kentucky soon, just so she could experience how great North of Bourbon was.

This place was amazing in every aspect! The atmosphere was so cool with the bourbon barrel booths. The service was phenomenal, one of the best I’ve ever experienced. We sat at the bar and the bartender, Brody was so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Now onto the food- we ordered a lot off the menu so that we could sample it all. The Gumbo was great, the potato salad was really good, creamy and a little tangy. The catfish nuggets have the best flavor breading. And the potatoes were crunchy on the outside and really creamy on the inside. Surprisingly the my friend and I both agreed the best thing we ordered was the wedge salad! It was fresh, flavorful and had an amazing green goddess dressing. For drinks we did the paper airplane it was delicious, and we were intrigued by the big red slushy drink it was like desert in a cup. If you’re at all contemplating eating here, go! You won’t be disappointed.
