Pokehana

This place is my favorite place to eat for lunch break. Healthy stuff, kind and lovely family runs the place and they play calm meditation style music. Been coming here for years and hope they keep it going for a long time. Downtown Louisville needs more local family places and this place is worth a trip.

Ugh soooo good! I treat myself to lunch here like once a month. I am so picky about what goes into a roll. Here it's a bowl, and it's like a Subway for sushi, so you pick what goes into it. I like the bowl better than a roll. Masago is no extra charge- just a regular topping which is groovy. The quality of the fish is superb and the price is fair. I've loved this location for a long time now. I just wish they were open during the evening. it's a lunch only kind of place.

I really enjoy their bibimbap! It's not stone bowl,but perfect portion for lunch and the bulgogi,banchan vegetables and gochujang are delicious! I can honestly say,as a half Korean, the taste is one of the best in the city.

I moved here from Ohio and there was almost nowhere to find Poke! I was so happy when I found this place, a taste of home. The salad was crisp, the smoked salmon and tuna was very good, they have a lot of dressings, I got seaweed and tofu on my salad, very good. Compared to other Poke places the prices are quite good.

I wish they were open more! I don't work downtown and do not get the opportunity to go out for lunch, so when I was in the area for a conference, I made sure to convince my group to go to Pokehana for lunch. Holy cow, so good.
