Sakura Blue

One of my favorite places to get Sushi. Nice environment and very friendly service

After changing jobs a few years ago, I had not been to Sakura Blue in a while. I stopped in today for lunch and my expectations were exceeded. It has always been good and today did not disappoint.

My family and I visited recently and it was the BEST sushi experience we have had yet. We sat at the sushi bar and had a wonderful time. The place is not "entertaining", but they have great food. My son doesn't even like fish, let alone nigiri; and he even admitted the salmon was not 'too bad'.

The sushi chef, George, was engaging and nice to chat with. My wife was jealous she did not get to go, but we will be back.

Clean, great food, great service, good atmosphere! If Sakura Blue isn't on your list of places to take your family, it should be!! It is also great for a date night. You have the option to sit at the sushi bar, a table, or a hibachi grill. (HIGHLY RECOMMEND)

Great sushi and hibachi dining spot in St. Matthews. Service is excellent, food quality is great, and the price is just right.

The restaurant has a cozy, intimate feel to the settings and the staff are rather unintrusive with their interactions.

Overall the dining experience is excellent. I have never had bad service nor an unpleasant experience at Sakura Blue. I would recommend it to anyone who wants good sushi at a great price. The restaurant is equally ideal for dates looking for a more intimate dining experience or for small groups of friends looking for a bite to eat.
