Amazing food plus a beautiful bakery! The best pork schnitzel I've had! The mood and atmosphere are perfect for grabbing lunch and catching up with friends or business contacts.
Food was great, service lacked. A cashier was helping another couple and she seemed really annoyed by them for whatever reason. After that transaction, she and another employee answered a question that I asked. The original cashier stood at or around the register the entire time we looked at the menu (a good few minutes), but as soon as we took the 2 or 3 steps over to the register to order, she also stepped a couple steps away to straighten up the pastry display. I thought it was a coincidence of timing, but then she walked out of the behind-the-counter area and did more of the same in the front of the display, at this point standing right next to me. There were two other people behind the counter doing various tasks. No one acknowledged our presence. Then a fourth person came in from a back area and took our order (he was extremely nice) - and the original young lady went back behind the counter and ended up helping him. It was all a little bizarre and off-putting.
Absolutely delicious brunch options conveniently located in the Speed Art Museum!
Enjoyed the Spring Toast (picture attached) on Mothers Day. They were naturally very busy - kids trying to show Mom they have some culture. But service was wonderful. Also enjoyed a Latte with coffee I believe from Good Folks. Terrific !
I am going back today after a while and I have to tell you they have the best pickles I have ever had in my life. I can't give a fancy review with culinary terms or anything but I can tell you after six months all I remember is get something that comes with the pickles.
