Liked the look of the restaurant...but that's about it. The staff was friendly enough, yes. But the lack of actual plates (there was just plastic plates and Styrofoam cups for my gumbo) was disappointing- as was the food. The gumbo tasted like something heated from a can that had been sitting on a shelf for a good year or two. My partner's chicken was nowhere near as spicy as he had been warned and it's flavor was also lacking. I might give it another chance in the future...but only when there's been enough time that the place has shaped up a bit.

If you're curious about a dish you can get free samples so you know you'll love what you're buying. The amount of food you get for the price is extraordinary! Very clean! Friendly and helpful staff, quick service, and great food!

This little "dive" style restaurant located on the college square, has been open for about a month. Only been here twice and still here as write this review. The place is small has a "hole in the wall" style but nice and clean inside, friendly staff and fast service. Menus to go and menus on the wall showing what's in your meal. I have a little hot love for the voodoo chicken here. The food is good and priced fairly, my wife and I can get two meals and drinks for an average of 18 bucks. So in short this little spot is worth a shot.

I don't know how long they've been open, but I was pleased. The service was quick, and the restaurant was clean. I liked that the menu was simple to understand. I ordered a small and my fiance ordered a large; he finished and felt stuffed, while I couldn't even eat all of mine because I was full. While I do wish there had been more sauce on the Bourbon Street Chicken and my fiance said it wasn't the best jambalaya he's had, we agreed that the restaurant will probably get better. Overall it was good food at a good price.
