Shandies

We were just in Paducah for the day. We asked for a lunch suggestion & were directed to Shandies. What a great suggestion! The atmosphere is charming. The music is a soft addition, not interrupting conversation. The meatloaf hoagie & the French dip were outstanding. The fries were the best I've had in a long time, real potatoes!

The atmosphere was great as well as the service. I wasn't as impressed with the food. Will go back and try something else though. Had the fish and chips, not sure what the dipping sauce was but tartar sauce would have been better. Had the wonton nachos for an appetizer, only suggestion there would be more chicken cut up smaller or maybe have different meat topping options.

There were 9 in our party and we got seated relatively quickly (which always makes me happy). The food was great for the most part. The wanton nachos are my personal favorite on the menu. Fish and chips were decent but nothing to write home about. The EPIC burger was pretty dang epic & my dad loved it. The side winders were delicious. My husband got the meatloaf sandwich and it was fine but again, nothing too impressive. My sister ordered loaded fries and we all loved them so much we ordered an extra one for the table! The bacon was sweet and the cheese was sooo good. I would suggest loaded fries or wanton nachos!

Our service was pretty good and the environment was pretty quiet for the type of restaurant! We would eat here again

Awesome find on our way to Nashville. So pleased to find a Beyond Burger on the menu. Perfect for this vegetarian! Was so tasty and service was really friendly.
