A true hidden gem in the fast food world of Paducah. The owner really knows how to make a great sandwich. Definitely a must try if you like smoked meats and the Chef Salad is top notch.
Never heard a bad thing said about this place. Owner is friendly and easy to talk to, and his food is top notch. I have eaten there several times, and everything I've ordered has been delicious. From handmade bread to expertly cooked meats, this guy has something for everybody. Great menu and even better pricing for what all you get.
Don't let looks deceive you. The Smokehouse deli is located next to a Smoke shop so it kinda appears to be the deli of a cigarette shop, but is in fact a deli specializing in smoked meats (e.g brisket). Got a pulled pork sandwhich. They handcut the bread from a loaf that was pretty tall/wide - put the bread through a toaster, spread both pieces with BBQ (sweet or spicy) & covered with a generous serving of hot pulled pork. Great value for $5. Definitely more food than one person should probably eat, but tasty enough you'd probably eat it all anyway.
