“This location was my first time ever eating at gold star chilis, I was a kid when I first enjoyed a three way chili. The chili is sweeter so if you are not into that than sadly gold star chilis is not for you, but it is pretty good chili. I am a bit biased by my childhood of eating here, I love the chili and wish more location existed so I could enjoy some gold star chili in my current place of residence. “I hadn't had Costa Rican food before, and I'm glad my group stopped here. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful in explaining how Costa Rican food is different than other nearby country's food. I got a tour of Costa Rica and my plate was stuffed full of meat, beans, rice, tortillas and some sides. It was all delicious and flavorful. There were some vegetarian options that could be made vegan and my boyfriend said they were tasty as well. Before we left the owner serenaded us with a song he sang and played on his guitar. It was a wonderful experience in Somerset, KY.”
