“Best place in town for coffee, pastries, and lunch. Prices are fair for the quality and service you expect from an actual coffee shop. My favorite is the turtle brownie cheesecake, it’s to die for! Great service, great atmosphere. I come from a large city and have been longing for those amazing coffee shops I left behind, fast food coffee doesn’t cut it when you know how it should taste. “My son and I ate here this morning because I wanted something different then what we usually eat around town. So my son and I googled and found this place. We have never ate here so we figured why not give it a try? And I am so happy we stopped. The food was remarkable and you get a lot of it. The staff was amazing and very friendly. Very affordable. We was so full by the time we left I got desert to go. I would recommend the Pecan Cobbler and the Peanut Butter Pie. It was so amazing and delicious. After we got done we stood at the docks and watched the hundreds of geese. This is a great spot. I would call this Mt. Vernon’s best kept secret by far of all the places in this town.”
