Despite the exquisite lodge-style decor complete with deer antler light fixtures and duck decoy tapestries it is priced VERY conservatively. Patrons dine under soft mellow lighting in a filled yet surprisingly quiet dining room that is both clean and comfortable. The food is FANTASTIC! The cherry pie and banana pudding are home made from scratch. The catfish fluffy and GOLDEN! As a lover of fine country food I highly recommend this place.”

“I know everyone likes to dump on McDonald's. I think it's mainly because they're the big player in fast food, and it's easy. Honestly though, they seem to be the most consistent. My burger was good (although slightly dry for some reason), and the fries were good as usual. The two employees I interacted with in the drive through were friendly (enough). So overall, it was a decent visit. My greatest issue I have isn't really McDonald's fault. When they rebuilt our store they added a second ordering lane. There's not really a second drive through lane, just a second option to place your order. Well, the people in town have a hard time figuring that out. They always want to start another line. Of course, this takes up the space for people passing through, and they're essentially "cutting line" past the people in the actual drive through lane. Anyway, ???? this visit was fine.”

I had one employee find out I was attending a nearby college and offer to pay for my meals when I was low on money as a college student. Very nice people!”
