“Hubby and I stopped in here to eat on our way back home to Illinois. He ordered a pork tenderloin and I believe fries, and I had a cheeseburger and fries. The service was great! Our waitress was friendly and prompt. When our food arrived shortly after our arrival, we were both impressed. He said his pork tenderloin sandwich was the best he's had in quite a while, and my cheeseburger was excellent as well. The bun for my burger was buttery and grilled to perfection! My cheeseburger was made from fresh ground beef and tasted really, really good! In fact, the cheeseburger was the best I have had in quite a while, too! Even the fries were great! I definitely recommend this mom and pop restaurant! It's about an hour drive from us, and the food was so good that my husband and I have decided that on occasion we will make that hour drive just to eat there. Yes, it really is worth that drive!”

“I used to love this place and go out of my way to come eat here no matter where I was living but they changed their meat supplier or something cause they just aren't the same. Everything else is great I've had. Love their cheese sticks. Hope they go back to whatever changed with the taste in their meat or maybe find a different supplier.”
