On The Half Shell

This was my 1st visit and I will be back! They had a tented outdoor area set up for socially distant dining and although it was a little warm outside, there was live music to make you forget about that.
Our starter was chargrilled oysters of several sorts. All great! They were very nice size and seasoned and dressed well.
Dinner was the Grilled Tuna and the Seafood Duo Plate, of which we opted for blackened catfish and fried shrimp. All very tasty and nice portions. I do warn that anything blackened is a bit salty and spicy, so...
And I have to add that their hushpuppies were light, fluffy and amazing!
My one complaint is the mixed drinks were a bit weak. All I tasted were the mixings, but overall we had a nice experience.

I've heard nothing but good things about this place. Great entertainment, great service. The draft beer was almost cold. My oysters were all runts. I mean a couple of them were almost non existent. Everyone else's around me looked great so I'll probably give them another chance.

Not cheap, but worth every penny. Great atmosphere, great food, fast and friendly service. I don't know what they could do to improve it! Thanks so much. I can't wait to go back!!

The best fried catfish. Thinly sliced cooked to perfection. They have offered 2 new sides, the Macaroni and cheese is the best I have ever tasted. It comes in a very large extremely hot plate, I could go there just for the mac and cheese. Everything was so good.

This was my first visit to On The Half Shell. Not feeling too hungry, we decided to order a couple of appetizers instead of dinner plates. We chose the charbroiled oysters and the New Orleans style BBQ shrimp. Both were excellent choices. The shrimp did not come with the heads on of which we were thankful. We will definitely go back for more.
