“We were extremely lucky to walk in and be seated - I highly recommend having a reservation. This was an unexpectedly upscale restaurant with clever decor featuring literature and we loved many aspects of our dining experience. The two featured cocktails we tried (Penelope Smoked Old Fashioned and Flora Adora)were outstanding. Our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The tuna tart appetizer and the scallop entree were top notch and some of the best dishes we’ve had at any level of restaurant. I highly recommend trying them. The side dishes were another point where the restaurant shines. I particularly enjoyed the sautéed mushrooms. On the other hand, the ribeye, while cooked to perfection, somehow was still a little tougher than expected, and I feel that there is room for improvement for that price range. The shrimp ceviche guacamole with plantains was good as well, though perhaps not as amazing as some of the other offerings. I look forward to coming back to try the lamb.”

“This Shell station is conveniently just right off of Louisiana Hwy. 30. It has eight (8) newer fuel pumps that takes credit card payments. It has a convenience store on its lot, but is also situated right next to a Burger King to its right, and El Paso Mexican Food Restaurant. Right across are other fast food places like Chick-fil-A & McDonald’s. Good stop. And it’s very near the I-10 exit and on-ramp.”

“We had the blackened alligator wrap with fries and ordered broccoli as a side. It didn’t taste bad but the alligator was not blackened. The server was nice but even after we clarified that we wanted the broccoli in addition to the fries we still had to ask for them. Music is a little loud, maybe she just didn’t hear us. The wrap was very greasy, the photo shows the grease from one half of the wrap. We ordered sweet tea, but it was not sweet at all.”

“Totally different taste than the other locations. I ordered the flounder lunch special with rice and a side of broccoli with fiery special extra hot sauce. The food was edible but not really tasty. My waitress Katey was pleasant and I was thankful to get the lunch special two piece fish with a side for $8. GLORY BE TO GOD!!! Happy Birthday Jesus!!!”

“Refreshing ambiance, staffs are polite and quick. Had a light dinner and ordered chicken quesadilla and it's very tasty with the salsa and guacamole sides. We both had the classic Margherita during the happy hour and it just completed our meal. Will definitely come back with the family nextime.”

“This location reminds me of those videos of "the kitchen of the future" from the fifties. Where appliances pop out of the counter and vacuums are in the walls. I order from the kiosks. Someone brings me my food. I head out. The drive-through does the 2 lanes thing that everyone is doing. Seems like last time I went, they were having some issues cause I had to wait in a spot for the food as did everyone else. They also do the app thing, which must be newer to this spot cause this was the first time they asked about it. It's McDonald's, except the ice cream machine was working. Had I known I would have ordered a sundae.”

“Since becoming diabetic my whole way of eating and drinking had to change. I went into Starbucks with my daughter not knowing what to get. I explained to the Barista I was newly diabetic and was there any options for me. Even though the store was crowded he went over everything with me. He told me they had sugar free syrups and could put Splenda in things. I got a Hot Jade Citrus Mint Tea with Splenda and it was pretty good. The seating area was nice and clean and the staff gave superior service. Was a great experience. Its nice to know there are options being diabetic.”

“I'm very particular about food quality and authentic cuisine. Read some of my previous reviews.. I've eaten Taqueria and Latin American Food Truck food from Denver, to Albuquerque, to Austin, to Houston, to Baton Rouge, to New Orleans, all of the way to Georgia. You get the idea. This is hands down the best Torta I gave ever eaten. I also ordered Al Pastor, since they cook it in a trompo in the traditional method. It was superb! I can not stress how good this place is. This is the real deal!”

“Glad to see a new impressive restaurant on the Prairieville strip. Let me start with the least preferred which was the crawfish bread. The bread was some plain loaf with no wow factor. The crawfish tail batter was not crisp or flaky. The spinach dip was standard fare. On to the good stuff. The shotgun shrimp. Their play on bang bang shrimp and wow it was good. Piping hot and a down the middle flavor profile that had everyone at the table raving. Next was the crawfish croquettes. These fresh, properly crusted, and served piping hot pockets of crawfish (and corn?) had just the right amount of red pepper (heat) and when dipped into the pepper jelly (hot and sweet sauce) this place got put on our radar for future visits. Wait until you see the burger review. The double deuce burger was a double meat patty with a smash burger like crisp, and that sauce (similar to Big Mac sauce in my opinion) was a solid combo worthy of a repeat trip. The burger was also dressed with cheddar jack cheese lettuce tomato onion and pickle. I don't think deuce or moist are good words for food but it is what it is. The second burger was the Oyster Rockefeller burger. Here is where the oyster dip took on a second personality. It was better on this burger than with the bread appetizer because it made the burger a handful, and gave the burger notes of richness. The crispness of the fried oyster (which I wanted more of) and the combined bite (with the spin dip and meat patty) made this an A+ bite!! The kicker was that I ordered this burger medium and it was cooked perfect medium!!! Look at the picture!! Was this luck? I know some are cringing with medium cooked meat, but this is quality stuff, so I went there. These 2 burgers are enough for this place to be on a burger radar for everyone. The sauce might be a mother sauce for several dishes but that is fine by me. I had a bite of the shrimp remoulade wrap which was very good. We will be back for sure!”

“2 sliders fries and a drink for $7.99! The bun was toasted and lightly buttered on tender bread that was not dry!! The meat patty was properly seasoned, not dry, and had what seemed to be a seared smash burger like texture. The slider was dressed with a pickle and a pink sauce that did not disappoint. The fries were standard fare waffle cut with a light Cajun style batter.”

“We were lucky enough to grab some sno balls from this truck outside the New Orleans City Park. We got the large Cotton Candy and Mango, both were to die for. The prices were reasonable, and the guy working the truck was friendly. It was a great treat to have while wandering the park.”

“Top notch quality pizza. I usually stay away from pizza because it is so greasy but this place has my tastebuds jumping for joy. The staff was so attentive and helped me put together a delicious lunch. I couldn’t pass up on the Nutella pizza and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is squeaky clean, the staff is very polite and the food is amazing! It’s a great place to take the family for a dinner night out.”

“Second location is a Gem and finally allows Ascension parish residents to get a fully baked potato. Plenty of options and combos can be endless. Proteins include chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, and crawfish. Cheeses include cheddar, American, pepper jack, and Mozzarella. New location is clean and very warm.”

“I mean what's not good about Starbucks, oh I know the drive thru line😄. This location usually moves pretty fast so it's not a major issue unless you're squeezed for time. You could always go in for faster service. Haven't had a bad drink here yet always consistent but I was told my favorite flavor will be going away till spring🙀. I'll have to try other drinks to see if I can find a new favorite. Staff was professional, friendly and helpful to my inquiries.”
